A Household Member is another person who lives at your address and shares your PassLink Pro account.
Some communities using PassLink Pro allow only one account per household. In these communities, additional family members should be added as Household Members instead of creating separate accounts.
Examples of Household Members may include:
- A spouse
- Children
- Parents
- Other family members living at the address
Adding Household Members helps ensure their names appear in the community access system, including:
- The gate attendant interface
- Visitor kiosks
- Resident lookup systems
This can make it easier for gate attendants and community staff to identify who belongs at the property.
Household Members do not need their own separate PassLink Pro account. Instead, your household can share the same account and log in on multiple devices if needed.
You may want to add Household Members if:
- Your community limits accounts to one per household
- Multiple people live at your address
- You want additional household members to appear in the community access system
- Family members may interact with gate attendants or visitor kiosks
You may not need to add Household Members if:
- You live alone
- Your community allows separate accounts for each resident
- There are no additional residents living at your address
If you are unsure whether your community uses Household Members, please contact your community management team or support@passlinkpro.com.
