How do I share a visitor’s PIN or QR code?

You can share a visitor’s PIN or QR code in PassLink Pro in two ways:

• right after adding the visitor
• later from the visitor’s detail page

Share a visitor’s PIN or QR code on the web

Before getting started, make sure you are logged in to PassLink Pro. If you need help logging in, please see How do I log in?.

Option 1: Share it right after adding the visitor

After you add a visitor on the web, it will take you to the Help Your Visitor Through The Gate page.

From this page, you can:

• view the visitor’s PIN to pass along to the visitor
• click to copy the PIN to pass along to the visitor
• click to copy the link to the visitor’s QR code to pass along to the visitor

You can then paste the PIN or QR code link into a text message, email, or another message to send it to your visitor.

Option 2: Share it later from the visitor’s detail page

You can also get a visitor’s PIN or QR code later from their visitor detail page.

1. Open your web browser, such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or a similar browser.
2. Go to https://go.passlinkpro.com.
3. Log in to your PassLink Pro account.
4. From your visitor list, click on the visitor.
5. On the visitor’s detail page, view the visitor’s PIN.
6. Click the button to copy the QR code link.

You can then paste the PIN or QR code link into a text message, email, or another message to send it to your visitor.

Share a visitor’s PIN or QR code on the mobile app

Before getting started, make sure you are logged in to PassLink Pro. If you need help logging in, please see How do I log in?.

Option 1: Share it right after adding the visitor

After you add a visitor in the mobile app, it will take you to the Help Your Visitor Through The Gate screen.

From this screen, you can share:

• the visitor’s PIN
• the visitor’s QR code link

When you choose to share either option, your phone’s native share screen will open so you can, copy it, send it by text message, email, or another app.

Option 2: Share it later from the visitor’s detail page

You can also share a visitor’s PIN or QR code later from their visitor detail page.

1. Open the PassLink Pro app on your phone.
2. From your visitor list, tap on the visitor.
3. On the visitor’s detail page, view the visitor’s PIN.
4. Tap the option to share the visitor’s QR code link or PIN.
5. Your phone’s native share screen will open so you can send it by text message, email, or another app.

Important

To help keep your community safe, remind your visitor not to share their PIN or QR code with anyone else.
